Services for Irene Collins, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m. Friday,Jan. 28 at St. Mark M.B. Church with burial in Oak Grove ChurchCemetery in Monticello.
Visitation is Thursday from noon until 7 p.m. with family hourfrom 6-7 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.
Mrs. Collins, 62, died Jan. 21, 2005, at Mississippi BaptistMedical Center in Jackson. She was born in Meridian on Dec. 19,1942, to Cliff McNickles and Fannie McNickles.
She was a graduate of McCullough High School in Monticello. Shewas a homemaker and a member of St. Mark M.B. Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, LincolnCollins Sr.; two brothers, Cliff McNickles and Marvin McNickles;and three sisters, Bertha Brown, Mary Ida Pickett and Mackie L.Jordan.
Survivors are her sons, the Rev. Lincoln Collins Jr. and hiswife, Yolanda Collins, and Robert Collins, all of Brookhaven; heradopted children, Rodger Brown and his wife, Michelle Brown, MarvinBrown and his wife, Rosetta Brown, all of Brookhaven, Carl Brownand his wife, Joyce Brown, of Slidell, Eli Brown and his wife,Wanda Brown, of New Orleans, La., Mary Brown, Denise Moore and herhusband, Samuel, and Edna Allen and her husband, Ike, all ofBrookhaven; her sister Pearl Green and her husband, the Rev,.Johnny Green, of Brookhaven; her brother, John McNickles, ofWorcester, Mass.; 19 grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews andother relatives.
