Services for Mary Katherine Womack, of Jayess, were 2 p.m.Saturday, Jan. 15 at Powell’s Grove United Pentecostal Church withburial in the church cemetery. Capps Funeral Home in Tylertown wasin charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Womack, 78, died Jan. 13, 2005, at Walthall GeneralHospital. She was born in Lawrence County on Jan. 4, 1927, toClarence Alexander and Nettie Cothern Alexander Holmes.

She was a homemaker.

Preceding her in death were her parents; one sister andbrother-in-law, Clarice and Eral Alexander; one brother andsister-in-law, Edward and Dottie Alexander; and her stepfather,Shirley Holmes.

Survivors are her husband, W.H. “Dub” Womack, of Jayess; herdaughter, Joyce Rutland, and her husband, Jerry, of Jayess; twobrothers, Roy Holmes, of Florence, and Marvin Holmes, of Foxworth;two grandchildren and their spouses; one great-grandchild; and ahost of nephews and nieces and lots of friends.
