Bogue Chitto sweeps St. Aloysius

VICKSBURG — Kimberlee Thomas pumped in 15 points and pulleddown 21 rebounds Friday night to lead the Bogue Chitto Lady Bobcatsto a 42-36 Division 7-1A win over the St. Aloysius LadyFlashes.

In the boys game, Antwain Lyons’ 14 points helped the Bobcatsdump the Flashes 46-37.

Last Saturday’s games with Mt. Olive were canceled.

Bogue Chitto 42, St. Aloysius 36

The Bogue Chitto girls (10-7, 8-3) led St. Al 25-16 at halftimeand 39-26 going in to the final frame where the Lady Flashesoutscored them 10-3 to cut the deficit to six points.

Adding support to the Bogue Chitto win with 13 points and 7rebounds was Meleah Brown. Pulling down 9 rebounds was TaneshaJohnson.

High scorer of the game was St. Al’s Sarah Kerut with 25points.

Bogue Chitto 46, St. Aloysius 37

Contributing to the Bobcats’ win with 10 points each were DantaeRatcliff and Daniel Howard.

Chase Smith led the Flashes with 15 points.

Bogue Chitto hosts Pelahatchie Tuesday for a divisiondoubleheader.
