Kevin Brian Ferrell

Services for Kevin Brian Ferrell of Brookhaven are 2 p.m.,Sunday, Feb. 13, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial inUnion Hall Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Ferrell, 21, died Feb. 10, 2005 in Pearl. He was born inBrookhaven on Jan. 15, 1984, to Michael W. Ferrell and Betty WhiteFerrell of Brookhaven.

He was a graduate of Brookhaven High School. He attendedCopiah-Lincoln Community College.

Preceding him in death was his father.

Survivors are his mother; his sister and brother-in-law, Angieand Ronnie Haley of Brookhaven; his brothers and sister-in-law,Dwayne and Stacy Ferrell of Hattiesburg, and Glenn Ferrell ofNewark, Del.; his niece, Anna Haley; and his nephews, Will Price,Alston Ferrell and Blaize Ferrell.

Claude Everette Moak

Services for Claude Everett Moak of Bogue Chitto are 11 a.m.,Monday, Feb. 14, at Hartman Funeral Home Chapel in McComb, withburial in Montgomery Baptist Church Cemetery. The Revs. Mike McKeeand Tim Parker will conduct the services.

Visitation is Sunday from 5-9 p.m., and Monday from 9-11 a.m. atthe funeral home.

Mr. Moak, 53, died Feb. 11, 2005, at Southwest MississippiRegional Medical Center in McComb. He was born in Bogue Chitto onJuly 30, 1951, to Troy and Verda Grace Moak.

He worked for over 25 years at Homelite’ Textron in Brookhaven.He was a longtime employee of Mississippi Department ofTransportation, where he worked as a bridge inspector. He was alongtime member of Montgomery Baptist Church. He was a veteran ofthe U.S. Army, with service in the Vietnam Conflict.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and a brother-in-law,Jerry Dunaway.

Survivors are his wife, Darlene Studebaker Moak of Bogue Chitto;his mother-in-law, Goldie Studebaker of Troy, Ohio; his daughters,Valerie Michelle Moak and Beverly Renee Moak, both of Bogue Chitto;his sisters, Sarah Adams of Tulsa, Okla., and Etta Fay Anderson andWinnie Nell Dunaway, both of Bogue Chitto; his brothers andsisters-in-law, Carroll E. and Janice Moak, Curtis E. and BonnieLou Moak, Clyde E. and Bonnie Ann Moak, Calvin E. and Bernita Moak,Charles E. and Cynthia Moak, Clayton E. and Tracey Moak, andClarman E. and Linda Moak, all of Bogue Chitto; hisbrothers-in-law, Larry Studebaker of Sidney, Ohio, Lester “Butch”and Terri Studebaker of Pleasant Hill, Ohio, Lawrence “Wally”Studebaker of Covington, Ohio, and Roger Studebaker of Piqua, Ohio;and many neices, nephews and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Jason Moak, Rusty Moak, Rick Studebaker,Chris Studebaker, Troy Moak and Steve Winborne. Honorarypallbearers will be Clay Roberts, Ray Simmons, George Porter, MikeWinborne and Jason Studebaker.

Mildred Louise Whittington Richardson

Services for Mildred Louise Whittington Richardson of BogueChitto are 3 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 13, at Catchings Funeral Home inMcComb with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The Revs. Billy Howseand Adrian Fairchild will officiate the services.

Visitation is Sunday from 1-3 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Richardson, 83, died Feb. 10, 2005, at her residence. Shewas born in Star on May 10, 1921, to Carse Whittington Sr. andJulia Mae Whittington.

She lived in Mobile, Ala., for 59 years before moving to BogueChitto in 2003.

Preceding her in death were her parents; a daughter, GeraldineRichardson; a son, Douglas Richardson; three sisters, ThresaGatlin, Ruby Jordan and Bessie Campau; and three brothers, LutherWhittington, Jimmy Whittington and Douglas Whittington.

Survivors are her husband of 60 years, George Richardson ofBogue Chitto; two brothers, J.C. Whittington of Bogue Chitto, andCarse Whittington Jr. of Tylertown; and numerous nieces, nephewsand other family and friends.
