Services for William Oson Creech, of Bude, are 10 a.m. Friday,Feb. 18 at Franklin Funeral Home Chapel in Meadville with burial inMidway Cemetery in Meadville.

Visitation is Thursday from 5-9 p.m. and Friday from 8-10 a.m.at the funeral home.

Mr. Creech, 75, died Feb. 15, 2005, at the G.V. “Sonny”Montgomery Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Jackson. He was bornin Bruce on Nov. 9, 1929, to Russell Creech and Pearl SappinstonCreech.

He worked as a rough neck off shore. He was a member of the Armyand served in Korea. He was a member of Bude Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife and friend, Dorothy Creech, of Bude; hisdaughter, Sonya Thornhill, of Raymond; his son, Gary Creech, ofMankato, Minn.; his sisters, Sybel Freeman, of Natchez, and SandraLaird, of Vicksburg; his brother, Leser Creech, of Oklahoma; andfour grandchildren, Micah Creech, Amanda Thornhill, TravisThornhill and Justin Thornhill.
