Services for Collis Robinson, of Liberty, are 2 p.m. Saturday,Feb. 19 at Bethel Methodist Church with burial in the churchcemetery.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 6 p.m. at WilliamsMortuary.

Mr. Robinson, 71, died Feb. 10, 2005, at his residence. He wasborn in Amite County on Sept. 26, 1933, to Fred Lee Robinson Sr.and Mozell Robinson.

He was retired. He was a member of Bethel Methodist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; two sons, JosephRobinson and Willie Russell Robinson; one grandson, OrlandoRobinson; four brothers, Hollis, Louis, Elmo and Fred Lee Robinson;and four sisters, Ilean Jackson, Bernell Tatum, Pearl LeeWeathersby and Ada Lee Griffin.

Survivors are his wife of 56 years, Merlena Robinson, ofLiberty; his daughters, Ella R. Martinez, of Mableton, Ga., EvelynHull and her husband, Anthony Hull, of Milwaukee, Wisc., LindaRobinson Cooper and her husband, John Cooper, of Milwaukee,Jacqueline Byrd and her husband, Stafford Byrd, of Gloster, andJulia Mathis and her husband, Jessie Mathis, of Milwaukee; hissons, Johnny Robinson and his wife, Priscilla Robinson, of McComb,and Roxie Dale Wilkinson and his wife, Dean Wilkinson, of Liberty;his brother, Moyese Perkins, of Liberty, his sister, Crissie LeeAnderson, and her husband, Hollis Anderson, of Liberty; threebrothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law; 26 grandchildren; 11great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and otherrelatives.
