Graveside services for Roy C. “Snooky” Thames, of Roseland, La.,are 1 p.m. today, March 15 at Oak Grove Pentecostal Church Cemeteryin Monticello. Catchings Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Mr. Thames, 90, died March 13, 2005, at Dunbar Village in BaySt. Louis. He was born in Jayess on Nov. 30, 1914, to Jim Thamesand Leona Lambert Thames.

He was disabled.

Preceding him in death were his parents; six brothers, ErnestThames, Lloyd Thames, Troy Thames, Felda Thames, Jessie Ray Thamesand Ford Thames; and four sisters, Mae Maubry, Zena Reid, LeolaGriffith and Desi Thames.

Survivors are his sister, Charlene T. Lambert, of Roseland; andnumerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
