Services for John Brantley Bailey of St. Francesville, La., are1 p.m. today at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel with burialin McBride Cemetery in Jefferson County. Riverwood Family Servicesfuneral home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is today from noon until 1 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Bailey, 85, died March 14, 2005, at Baton Rouge GeneralHospital of heart failure. He was born in Wesson on Nov. 22, 1919,to the late Troy W. and Mary Jane Bailey.

He was a retired self-employed contract welder. He was a memberof the Baptist faith. He was an Army veteran.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Bonnie Bailey of St. Francisville; hissons, John Bailey of St. Francesville and Keith Bailey of NorthCarolina; is daughters, Bernie Aucoin of Theodore, Ala., Diane Jobeof Hot Springs Village, Ark., Sandra Jarrell of Baton Rouge, La.,and Karon Groestsh of New Orleans and Wanda Toney of Baton Rouge;his two sisters, Lorell Colman of Wesson and Vencie Campbell ofJackson; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
