Services for Velma Ray Carney Wilson of Monticello are 11 a.m.today at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Bethel BaptistChurch Cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Mrs. Wilson, 81, died March 15, 2005, at her residence. She wasborn in Lawrence County on July 15, 1923, to the late Walter andAlice Mohon Carney.

She was a retired nurses aid. She was a member of Bethel BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, two brothersand three sisters.

Survivors are her sons, Buck Wilson and James Wilson; herdaughter, Rosemary Sauls; her sister, Sybil White, all ofMonticello; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
