Keith Hastings

Services for Keith Hastings, of McComb, are 2 p.m. Thursday,March 24 at First Church of the Nazarene in McComb with burial inPike Memorial Gardens in McComb.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at Hartman Funeral Home ofMcComb and Thursday from noon until 2 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Hastings, 22, died March 21, 2005, from injuries sustainedin an automobile accident in Walthall County. He was born in McCombon Sept. 7, 1982.

He was a construction worker with Barnes Construction inJackson. He was a skilled auto mechanic and especially enjoyedworking on trucks.

He attended North Pike High School where he played on thefootball team. He enjoyed baseball, karate, swimming, fishing,camping, skiing and drag racing. He loved cooking out with hisfamily at family barbecues. He attended the First Church of theNazarene.

Survivors are his mother, Lisa Allen and her husband, Ronnie, ofMcComb; his father, Billy Hastings and his wife, Cathy, of McComb;his grandparents, Wayne and Kathy Gray, of McComb, and Bill andWillie Mae Hastings, of Gloster; his daughter, Kerra Hastings andher mother, Stacey Eisworth, of McComb; his brothers, Zach Allen,of McComb, J.C. Thornhill, of Amite County, and Donald Hastings, ofBogue Chitto; his stepsister, Madison Allen, of Franklin County;and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives andfriends.

Robert Martin

Services for Robert Martin, of Magnolia, were 2 p.m. Sunday,March 20 at Hartman Funeral Home of McComb with burial in HollywoodCemetery. Services were officiated by the Rev. Richard Root and theRev. Zack Moak.

Mr. Martin, 96, died March 18, 2005, at Countrybrook LivingCenter. He was born in Pike County on Oct. 17, 1908, to Rashtus andFannie Patch Martin.

He was a retired farmer and was a veteran of the Army.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, BessieMartin; a stepdaughter, Opal Berryhill; a brother, Jim Martin; andtwo sisters, Hazel Fleming and Beaulah Smith.

Survivors are his two grandsons, Kenneth Wayne Berryhill andRonnie Berryhill; a great-granddaughter, Brandi Berryhill; agreat-great-grandson, Christopher Lee; a great-great-granddaughter,Alyssa Rayborn; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Scott Bates, Russell Hastings, Brad Hastings,Wesley Hastings, Trey Dunn III, Paul Hawley and Scott Savitts.

Roland ‘Bojangles’ Ralph Jr.

Services for Roland “Bojangles” Ralph Jr., of Brookhaven, are 3p.m. Friday, March 25 at Williams Mortuary Chapel with burial inOld Macedonia Cemetery on Highway 550.

Visitation is Thursday from noon until 6 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Ralph, 69, died March 19, 2005, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born in New Orleans on April 14, 1935, to RolandRalph Sr. and Hazel Ralph.

He was a graduate of New Orleans Public Schools and attendedSouthern University in Baton Rouge. He was a veteran of the Armyand was retired.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his stepdaughter,Patricia McCory.

Survivors are his lifetime companion, Rose “Mickey” Blakley, ofBrookhaven; his daughters, Pamela Tucker Williams, Esther TuckerBigges, Carzette Tucker, all of Moss Point, and Shanavia Ralph, ofBrookhaven; his sons, John Alexander Tucker, Traci Tucker and JerryTucker, all of Moss Point; his stepsons, Wallace Robinson and hiswife, Ruby, of Moss Point, and Tyrone Robinson, of Pascagoula; hisstepdaughters, Sandra Smith and her husband, Walter Smith, ofBrookhaven, Tangie Barnes and her husband, Tony Barnes, of Norfolk,Va., and Vickie Judson, of Moss Point; and many grandchildren andother relatives.
