Services for Annie S. Smith, of Baton Rouge, were noon Friday,March 18 at Welsh Funeral Home in Baton Rouge with burial inResthaven Gardens of Memory.

Mrs. Smith, 82, died March 16, 2005, at Our Lady of the LakeRegional Medical Center. She was a native of Brookhaven.

She was a homemaker and loving mother, wife, sister and friendto all who knew her. She was a member of the Order of the EasternStar Fairfields Chapter 211 for 55 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow W. Smith Sr.;her father, George W. Smith; her mother, Lavada E. Buff; twobrothers, Aubrey and G.W. Smith; and a sister, Pauline Rollins.

Survivors are her daughter, Sandra Gail “Sandy”; her son,Woodrow W. “Woody” Smith; two sisters, Sybil Smith and MaxineCalcote, all of Baton Rouge; one grandchild; and twogreat-grandchildren.
