Willie Ray Madison

Services for Willie Ray Madison, of Monticello, are 11 a.m.Wednesday, April 6 at China Lee M.B. Church in Silver Creek withburial in Pearl River Valley Cemetery in Monticello.

Visitation is Tuesday from noon until 7 p.m. with family presentfrom 6-7 p.m. at R.E. Tyler Funeral Home.

Mr. Madison, 56, died March 30, 2005, at Lawrence County NursingCenter. He was born in Monticello on March 4, 1949, to WillWeathersby of Detroit, Mich., and Cora Stanfield Stringer.

He was a public transit bus driver for Monticello and JeffersonDavis County. He was a member of New Life Fellowship Church inMonticello.

Preceding him in death was his mother.

Survivors are his father; his sister, Virginia Hill, of Detroit;and his brothers, Retuis Stanfield, of Monticello, and ClarkMadison, of Gulfport.

Tommy Lee Stephens

Services for Tommy Lee Stephens, of Monticello, are 1 p.m.today, April 4 at Crooked Creek Baptist Church with burial inStephens Cemetery. Community Funeral Services is in charge ofarrangements.

Mr. Stephens, 48, died April 1, 2005, at the University ofMississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was born in JeffersonDavis County on July 23, 1956, to Joseph D. Stephens and EuniceAtaway Herrington, of Monticello.

He was disabled. He was a member of the Baptist faith

Preceding him in death were his father; and one brother.

Survivors are his mother; his daughter, Korie White, of Sontag;his sisters, Jackie Rutland, of Sontag, and Pam Smith, ofMonticello; two grandchildren, Wesley and Charlie White; and hisprevious spouse and long-time friend, Dianne Stephens, ofMonticello.
