Services for James Robert Douglas of Brookhaven are 1 p.m.,Monday, April 18, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel withburial in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation is Sunday from 4-9 p.m., and Monday from 8 a.m. until1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Douglas, 74, died April 14, 2005, at V.A. Hospital inJackson. He was born in Sontag on Aug. 28, 1930, to James RichardDouglas and Ollie Pearl Smith Douglas.
He was retired. He was a member of Central Baptist Church, wherehe was a longtime deacon. He was a graduate of Monticello HighSchool. He was a veteran of the Navy, with service in the KoreanConflict.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his sister, DoraHamilton; and a brother, William E. Douglas.
Survivors are his wife, Alberta Moak Douglas; his sons anddaughters-in-law, Jerry and Justine Douglas of Rush, La., RobertEdward and Regina Douglas of Brookhaven, and Phillip Dwayne andTina Douglas of Wesson; his brother, Carroll Douglas of Brookhaven;six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
