FRANKLINTON, LA. — Paul Davis smashed a grand slam home run, asolo homer and 3 singles Thursday night to power the BrookhavenAcademy Cougars to a lopsided 25-10 District 4-AA win over theBowling Green Buccaneers.

BA led Bowling Green 10-0 after three innings and 13-9 at theend of five. At the of six, it was BA 15-9 over Bowling Green. Inthe final inning, the Cougars exploded for a 10-1 scoring run onthe Buccs for the win.

BA outhit Bowling Green 21-7.

Following Davis at the plate with 4 singles was Cole Hodges.Corey Dickerson singled 3 times. Jeremy Winborne homered. Triplingand singling was Keith Franklin. Seth Davis doubled and singled.Trey Allred singled twice followed by Chris Falvey with asingle.

Dickerson posted the win with 6 strikeouts and 4 walks.

Daniel Varnado doubled and singled for Bowling Green. AdamThomas singled twice. Nick Goings hit safely.

Bryan Williams was the losing pitcher with 5 strikeouts and 6walks.
