Services for Leroy Campbell of Meadville are 11 a.m., Monday,April 25, at Franklin Funeral Home Chapel in Meadville with burialin Midway Cemetery in Meadville. The services will be conducted bythe Rev. Kevin Griggin.

Visitation is Sunday from 4-9 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mr. Campbell, 78, died April 23, 2005 at his residence. He wasborn in Vicksburg on July 29, 1926, to Ben Campbell and CatherineBrown Campbell.

He was a retired forest technician with the U.S. Department ofAgriculture. He was a member of Meadville Baptist Church. He was aveteran of the Army with service in World War II. He was a memberof Harmony Lodge #1 at the Wahabi Temple in Jackson.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Lorene BlountCampbell; one sister; and one brother.

Survivors are his wife, Shirley Stanley Campbell; his daughtersand son-in-law, Susan and Bobby Martin of Jena, La., and SherryCampbell of Brookhaven; his stepdaughters, Jean Campbell and JudyHudson; his sons and daughters-in-law, David and Stayce Campbell ofMeadville, and Steve and Gail Campbell of Covington, La.; hissister-in-law, Pearl Campbell of Wilkesboro, N.C.; and hisgrandchildren, Jennifer Breithaupt, Louren Campbell and LeslieCampbell; six step-grandchildren; and threegreat-grandchildren.
