Services for Jessie Polk Diffrient, of Brookhaven, are 3:30 p.m.today, April 26 at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial inEasthaven Cemetery.

Visitation is today from noon until 3:30 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Diffrient, 85, died April 24, 2005, at her residence. Shewas born in Jefferson Davis County on Oct. 28, 1919, to WilliamLuther Polk and India Robbins Polk.

She was a homemaker and former owner of Brookhaven MonumentCompany. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Belton E.Diffrient Sr.; her brothers, Clifton, Ray and J.B. Polk; hersisters, Ina Bufkin, Tima Michael and Gay Swett.

Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Amanda Diffrient andGreg Moriarty, of Bassfield; her son, Belton E. Diffrient Jr. andhis wife, Doris, of Loyd Star; and three grandchildren, AustinClary, Kellie Paxton, Ezra Diffrient and Stacy, Molly andBlair.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
