Services for Katherine Laird Thompson, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.today, April 26 at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial inEasthaven Cemetery.

Mrs. Thompson, 68, died April 24, 2005, at her residence. Shewas born in Franklin County on Sept. 18, 1936, to George Laird andClara Ezell Laird Head of Brookhaven.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Baptist faith.

Preceding her in death were her father; her husband, RoyThompson; her son, David Ezell; and her brothers, Roy and TroyLaird.

Survivors are her mother; her daughters, Nancy Case, ofBrookhaven and Evelyn Bowman and Robert Buitt, of Bogue Chitto; hersons, Ronnie Ezell and his wife, Vicki, and Mike Ezell and hiswife, Cynthia, all of Brookhaven, and Eugene Ezell, of Salem, Ohio;her sisters, Glenda Dawson and Clara Long, both of Brookhaven, andNellie Cato, of Troy, Mo.; 16 grandchildren; and 17great-grandchildren.
