Services for Richard Earl Washington, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m.Saturday, April 30 at Mt. Olive M.B. Church with burial in thechurch cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 6 p.m. at WilliamsMortuary.

Mr. Washington, 60, died April 24, 2005, at his residence. Hewas born in Brookhaven on Nov. 3, 1944, to James Earl Washingtonand Thelma Lee McCall Washington.

He was a retired logger.

Preceding him in death were his parents; three brothers, GeorgeWashington, James Earl Washington and J.C. Kelly; and hisgreat-grandson, Trashawn A. Owens.

Survivors are his wife, Jessie Lee Washington, of Brookhaven;his daughter, Jessica Washington, of Brookhaven; his two sons, KarlLyons and his wife, Vicki, and Troy Washington and his wife,LaKeysha, all of Brookhaven; his brothers, Charles Kelly, Ivy LeeWashington and Ronnie Lee Washington, all of Brookhaven; eightgrandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives andfriends.
