Graveside services for Katherine S. Norwood, of Brookhaven, were11 a.m. today, May 2 at Easthaven Cemetery. Harrigill Funeral Homewas in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Norwood, 78, died April 30, 2005, at her residence. She wasborn in Lincoln County on Dec. 13, 1926, to Herman O. Summers andDaisy T. Waldrop Summers.

She was a retired real estate broker and former owner of Century21 Real Estate. She was a member of the Methodist faith.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, John AbelNorwood; and two brothers, Billy Summers and Donald Summers.

Survivors are her sister, Bette S. Moak, of Bogue Chitto; andGordon Summers, of Brookhaven.
