Services for Roby D. Roberts, of Brandon, are 2 p.m. Sunday, May15 at Catchings Funeral Home with burial in East Union Cemetery inMagnolia.

Visitation is today from 5-8 p.m., Saturday from 4-8 p.m. andSunday from noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Roberts, 56, died May 10, 2005, at his residence, followinga lengthy illness.

He was a truck driver for Flowers Bakery.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Talmadge Henry Robertsand Melva Rayburn Roberts; and his father-in-law, James Mote.

Survivors are his wife of nearly 35 years, Sarah Mote Roberts,of Brandon; three sons, Shane Roberts, of Brandon, Derrick Roberts,of Ashville, N.C. and Talmadge Roberts, of Brandon; one daughter,Mary Rather, of Ridgeland; one brother, Darcy Roberts, ofLivingston, La.; two sisters, Charlotte Bounds, of Baton Rouge, andJackie Roberts, of Walker, La.; six grandchildren; and hismother-in-law.
