Graveside services for Louise Calcote Moorer, of Calhoun City,are 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 31 at Floral Hills MemorialGardens.

Visitation is Tuesday from 11 a.m. until noon atBradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Gulfport.

Mrs. Moorer, 84, died May 27, 2005, at North Mississippi MedicalCenter in Tupelo. She was born in Lucien on Sept. 22, 1920, toWilliam Henry Calcote and Ruth Ann Smith Calcote.

She was a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi andreceived her masters degree from the University of North Carolina.She was a teacher in the Gulfport Public School System for manyyears. She was a member of First Baptist Church in CalhounCity.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, William B.Moorer Sr.; a sister, Elsie White; and two brothers, Robert EarlCalcote and Richard Calcote.

Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Jane and CharlesHardin, of Calhoun City; her sons, William B. Moorer Jr., ofGautier, and John F. Moorer of Biloxi; her sisters, Flora Byrd, ofGuntersville, Ala., Nellie Denman, of Smithdale, Dorothy Poole, ofHernando, and Ruth Way, of Georgetown, Texas; her brothers, DavidCalcote, of Brookhaven, and James Calcote, of Gulfport; fourgrandsons; and two great-grandsons.
