Services for Howard “Billy” Hailey, of Hazlehurst, were 11 a.m.today, June 9 at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst withburial in New Providence Cemetery.

Mr. Hailey, 58, died June 7, 2005, at his residence.

He was a member of New Providence Baptist church. He was agraduate of Michell High School in Biloxi and Whitworth College. Hewas retired from Illinois Central Railroad.

Preceding him in death were his mother, Ruth King Hailey; hisgrandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W.W. King and Mr. and Mrs. Rankin M.Hailey.

Survivors are his father, Howard R. Hailey, of Hazlehurst; hisuncle, Scott F. Hailey, of Wesson; his aunt, Sara Bess Heusel, ofBastrop, La.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
