Services for Rosie Lee Hunter, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m.Saturday, June 11 at New Hope M.B. Church with burial in the churchcemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 1-6 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.

Mrs. Hunter, 88, died June 5, 2005, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Copiah County on Dec. 16, 1916, to ShermanJohnson and Lula Johnson.

She was retired. She was a member of New Hope M.B. Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her husband, ElishaHunter.

Survivors are her five sons, Robert Hunter Sr., of Brookhaven,J.W. Hunter and his wife, Thelma, of Brookhaven, S.Q. Hunter andhis wife, Velma, of Brookhaven, Claude Hunter, of Omaha, Neb., andPaul Hunter, of Chicago; her four daughters, JoDell Robinson andher husband, S.L. Robinson, of Brookhaven, Augustine Wilson, ofOmaha, Ishanee Wrenn and her husband, Richard Wrenn, of Omaha, andLula Mae Yates and her husband, Troy Yates, of Akron, Ohio; twosisters, Elsie Jackson, of Hazlehurst, and Lucille Johnson, ofPortland, Ore.; 29 grandchildren; and 73 great-grandchildren.
