Services for Robinson S. “Robbie” Lee, of Pearl, are 10 a.m.Saturday, June 10 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Pearl witha burial service at 12:30 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church inBogue Chitto. The Rev. J. Steve Jackson will officiate at bothservices.

Visitation is today from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Lee, 82, died June 8, 2005, at St. Dominic-Jackson MemorialHospital.

He was a native of Pike County and made Pearl his home for thelast forty years. He worked for Illinois Central Gulf Railroad forover 30 years, retiring in 1986. He was a faithful member ofMcLaurin Heights Baptist Church and a World World II Navyveteran.

A devoted husband, father and grandfather, he was always a manof great integrity, gentleness and faith despite being confined toa wheel chair for the past 14 years.

Mr. Lee loved watching his children and grandchildren grow uparound him, often times sharing his wisdom of years lived witheach. He also loved watching his devoted wife go about dailyroutines of taking care of him and their home. He also enjoyedwatching “his Braves” on television and being surrounded by hisloving dogs.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Willie and MinnieLee.

Survivors are his wife of 51 years, Geneva Lee; his son, WillieH. Lee and his wife, Martha, of Brandon; his daughters, PatriciaLee Curtis and her husband, David K. Curtis, of Columbus, andRobbin J. Lee, of Flowood; his grandchildren, Pierce and Nick Lee,of Brandon, and Kennon and Katie Lee Curtis, of Columbus.
