Services for Denver Lee Humphrey, of Vicksburg, are 1 p.m.Friday, June 17 at R.E. Tyler Funeral Home Chapel with burial inMt. Zion Cemetery in Bogue Chitto.

Visitation is Thursday from noon until 8 p.m. with familypresent from 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Humphrey, 49, died June 9, 2005, at his residence. He wasborn on July 16, 1955, to Willie Humphrey Sr. and Josie Mae BlueHumphrey.

He was a chef. He was a member of St. Paul M.B. Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his two brothers,Willie D. Humphrey and Alfred Humphrey.

Survivors are his wife, Frances Humphrey, of Brookhaven; hisdaughter, Niquel Humphrey, of Brookhaven; his sons, Denver Quarles,of Bude, and Timothy Cooper, of Brookhaven; his sisters, HelenCameron, of Brookhaven, Alice Robinson, of St. Angelo, Texas, andPrima Lyons, of Bogue Chitto; his brothers, Thomas Humphrey, LutherHumphrey, Willie Humphrey Jr. and Petrell Arnold, all ofBrookhaven; and four grandchildren.
