Memorial services for Deacee Arnold, of Flowood, are 7:30 p.m.Saturday, June 25 at the Arnold home, 2100 Pinehaven Dr., Flowood.Baldwin Lee Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Arnold, 31, died June 3, 2005, at her residence.

She was a a native of Ridgeland and employed as a team captainfor Merry Maids.

Survivors are her husband, Lanny Arnold, of Flowood; her son,Kris Moody, of Terry; her daughter, Niki Arnold, of Flowood; herstepdaughter, Jessica Arnold, of Bogue Chitto; her father PaulHinton, of Crystal Springs; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Hinton,of Pearl; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. SidneyArnold, of McCall Creek; her brother and sister-in-law, Gerry andCarol Arnold, of Independence, La.

Nakisha Nicole Newman

Services for Nakisha Nicole Newman, of Brookhaven, are noonThursday, June 23 at Pine Grove M.B. Church in Sontag with burialin Carver Heights Cemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday from 1-7 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.

Ms. Newman, 28, died June 16, 2005, at River Oaks Hospital inFlowood. She was born on Jan. 31, 1977, to Samuel Leggett andLillie Newman Leggett Barze.

She was a cook. She had been employed at Popeye’s for four yearsand Fish Fry for two years until her death. She was a member ofPine Grove M.B. Church.

Preceding her in death were her maternal grandmother, LauriceBryant; her maternal grandfather, Garvie Newman; her paternalgrandparents, James and Estee Leggett.

Survivors are her parents; her four sons, David J.J. Renfro,Tomas E.G. Newman, Ethan C.D. Newman and Nicholas J.L. Newman, allof Brookhaven; her daughter, Temara A.L. Newman, of Brookhaven; hersister, LaRhonda Blandon and her husband, Don, of Brookhaven; herthree brothers, Jonathan Leggett and his wife, Claudie, SamuelLeggett Jr. and Samuel McCallup, all of Brookhaven; her stepfather,Larry Barze, of Brookhaven; her grandparents, Charlie and RitaLewis, of Brookhaven; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews,other relatives and friends.
