Services for Scott Sibley Sr., of Summit, are 2 p.m. Thursday,June 23 at Cockerham Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in Liberty withburial in the church cemetery. R.E. Tyler Funeral Home is in chargeof arrangements.

Visitation is Thursday from 1-2 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Sibley, 85, died June 16, 2005, at his residence. He wasborn on March 3, 1920, to Jessie Sibley and Alice Sibley.

He was a retired employee of Amite County. He served in the Armyduring World War II. He was a member of Cockerham Chapel FreewillBaptist Church in Liberty.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, AddineSibley; one son, Scott Sibley Jr.; two daughters, Missy Gallowayand Annette Sibley; two grandchildren; five brothers; and foursisters.

Survivors are his daughters, Bertha Young, Willie Mae Sibley andChristine Lee, all of McComb, and Bessie Jackson, of Hammond, La.;his sons, L.D. Sibley, of New Orleans, Frank Sibley, Henry Sibleyand James Sibley, all of Summit, Robert Sibley, of McComb, andEllis Ray Sibley, of Henderson, Ky.; 41 grandchildren; 43great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
