MCCOMB — The Brookhaven American All-Stars fell to the hostMcComb All-Stars 7-4 in the first game of the best-of-three seriesin the Dixie Youth AA District Tournament.

The second game of the series continues tonight. Brookhavenhosts McComb at 6:30 p.m. at Keystone Field No. 2. If Brookhavenwins and ties the series, a coin toss will decide the location ofthe final game.

Powering the Americans at the plate with a hit were CalebYarborough, Alex Smith, Alex Neal, Collin Hurt, Brooks Ingles andCory Alderman. Winky Brown is the head coach with Tony Smith, ChadYarborough and Mike Ingles as assistants.

McComb got 2 hits apiece from Logan Yawn, Bruce Temple and AlexBreeland. Hitting safely were Sanders Ott, Tucker Adams and RossFielder.
