Services for Carolyn V. Thomas, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.Saturday, July 2 at Pine Grove M.B. Church in Sontag with burial inthe church cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 1-8:30 p.m., with a wake from7:30-8:30 p.m., at Williams Mortuary.

Mrs. Thomas, 58, died June 24, 2005, at Mississippi BaptistMedical Center. She was born on March 19, 1947, to ClarenceCampbell and Christine Houston.

She was retired. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christof Latter Day Saints.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her husband, Leonard Thomas, of Brookhaven; hersons, Leonard Brown and his wife, Tonya, of Memphis, Antonio Thomasand his wife, Peggy, Chris Thomas and Pierre Thomas, all ofBrookhaven; her daughter, Aurora Thomas, of Brookhaven; herstepson, Ronnie Joe Thomas and his wife, Debbie, of Iowa City,Iowa; her adopted daughters, Forneta Thomas and Stephanie Dillon,both of Brookhaven, and Vicki Watson, of Oxnard, Calif.; herbrothers, Johnnie Houston, Lawrence Houston, George Houston andAndrew Houston; her sisters, Patricia Houston, Diane Houston,Marilyn Houston, Sylvia Houston, and Eva Mae Houston; 20grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
