Services for Marjorie Dale Cato Wright Beard, of Brookhaven, are3 p.m. Wednesday, July 6 at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapelwith burial in Easthaven Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 4-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Beard, 79, died July 4, 2005, at her residence. She wasborn on Dec. 31, 1925, to Horace E. Cato Sr. and Hattie WooleyCato.

She was a homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother andgreat-grandmother. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husbands, VirgilElzie Wright and Charles Wesley Beard; and one brother, Horace E.Cato Jr.

Survivors are her daughters, Belenda Wright Statham and herhusband, Gary, of Brookhaven, and Judy Wright Ballard and herhusband, Plez, of Collierville, Tenn.; her son, John RichardWright, of Brookhaven; her grandchildren, John Richard Wright, ofBrookhaven, Brook Edward Wright, of Prairieville, Texas, BrandyStatham Smith, of Brookhaven, Leah Ballard Embry, of Adairsville,Ga., and Lance Virgle Ballard, of Nashville, Tenn.; hergreat-grandchildren, Laura Beth and Coker Wright, Cameron andGracie Smith and Isabella Ruby Embry; five special friends, Lea,Emma and Della Jenkens, Johnnie Pittman, and Donna Smith; threenieces; and one sister-in-law.

Jason W. Brewer

Services for Jason W. Brewer, of Crystal Springs, were 2 p.m.Monday, July 4 at Highland Baptist Church in Crystal Springs withburial in Terry City Cemetery. Community Funeral Services was incharge of arrangements.

Mr. Brewer, 29, died July 2, 2005, at the University ofMississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was born on May 7,1976.

He was disabled. He was a member of the Baptist faith.

Survivors are his mother and stepfather, Susan and Clay Martin;his daughter, Laynne Brewer, of Byram; his son, Seth W. Brewer, ofByram; his sister, Kristi Martin, of Crystal Springs; and hisbrother, Casey Martin, of Crystal Springs; his maternalgrandmother, Bessie Gordan, of Crystal Springs; and his paternalgrandparents, David and Rachel Brewer, of Crystal Springs.

Mable Newell

Services for Mable Newell, of Natchez, were 10 a.m. Monday, July4 at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel in Natchez with burialin Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Mrs. Newell, 87, died July 2, 2005, at Natchez Regional MedicalCenter. She was born in Lincoln County on May 16, 1918, to Arnoldand Nancy Smith.

She was a member of Washington Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Parley F.Newell; her sister, Lucille Allgood; and her brother, JamesSmith.

Survivors are her two daughters, Virginia Grainger, of Roxie,and Kathy Seydell, of Natchez; her sister, Darcous Winborn, ofNatchez; her brother, Cleveland Smith, of Brookhaven; fourgrandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Nevelyn Netterville

Graveside services for Nevelyn Netterville, of Woodville, are11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 7 at Easthaven Cemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home inGloster.

Mrs. Netterville, 77, died July 3, 2005, at Field MemorialHospital in Centreville. She was born in Bogue Chitto on Oct. 26,1927, to Noel Wallace and Cordia Allred Wallace.

She was a retired cosmetologist.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her first husband, T.M.Montgomery; her daughter, Shelia Hrenyk; one granddaughter,Kimberly Johnasean; and one brother, Benton Wallace.

Survivors are her husband, I.D. Netterville Jr.; her two sons,Bobby Montgomery and Ronnie Montgomery; her two daughters, SherryLato and Madla Netterville; her three sisters, Viania Thornhill,Linda Harris and Dimple Hughes; her three brothers, Garlon Wallace,Nolan Wallace and Stewart Wallace; 16 grandchildren; and 10great-grandchildren.
