Services for Carrie Ware, of Fayette, are 11 a.m. Friday, July15 at Hollywood Baptist Church in Fayette with burial in the churchcemetery. Marshall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation and a slide show presentation are from 9-11 a.m. atthe church.

Mrs. Ware, 81, died July 8, 2005, at the University ofMississippi Medical Center in Jackson. She was born in JeffersonCounty on Dec. 26, 1923, to Harry and Jeanette Ross.

She was a member of Hollywood Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, AbnerWare; four sisters, Dori Ross Wolfe, Lula Mae Ross, Dora Carter andSara Jane Ross; seven brothers, Sam Ross, Johnny Ross, CharlesRoss, Roscoe Ross, Willie Clark, C.L. Clark and Horace Clark.

Survivors are her daughter, Arzelia McNight, of Fayette; foursisters, Gertrude Green, of Denton Texas, Barbara R. Hall, ofFayette, Margie Owens, of Detroit, Mich., and Ninnie Green, ofSouthfield, Mich.; one brother-in-law, Howard Ware, of St. LouisMo.; two sister-in-laws, Lela Murray, of Los Angeles, Calif., andRosie L. Ware, of Church Hill; two stepdaughters, Louise Ellis, ofDetroit, Mich., and Emma Scott, of Natchez; a very special friend,Rose Etta Green, of Fayette; and a host of nieces, nephews, otherrelatives and friends.
