Services for Thomas W. “Tommie” Jones Jr., of Brookhaven, are 2p.m. Tuesday, July 26 at Brookhaven Funeral Home with burial inRosehill Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Jones, 78, died July 24, 2005, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born on April 1, 1927, to Thomas W. Jones Sr. andEva Mae Dunn Jones.

He was the retired owner of Jones Meat Market. He served in theArmy. He was a member of Easthaven Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Mary Ellen Jones, of Brookhaven; hisdaughters, Pam Reid and her husband, Terry, and Susie Patrick andher husband, Stan, all of Brookhaven; his grandchildren, Emily andSteven Mulhollen, of Jackson, and Carrie and Bill Sones, ofJackson, Anna Reid, Josh, Jacob and Joel Patrick, all ofBrookhaven; and a great-grandchild, David Sones, of Jackson.
