Frances Wooten Pike

Services for Frances Wooten Pike of Natchez were 5 p.m.,Saturday, July 30, at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel inNatchez with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Beaumont, Texas.

Mrs. Pike, 76, died July 29, 2005, at Natchez Regional MedicalCenter. She was born in Lucien on March 9, 1929, to Charles GroverWooten and Annie Merle Smith Wooten.

She was retired from Sears, Roebuck & Co. She was owner ofThe Aunt Frannie House B & B in Natchez. She was a member ofMorgantown Baptist Church and the Gideon’s Auxiliary.

Preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers; a son;and a grandson.

Survivors are her husband, Vernon Pike of Natchez; herdaughters, Pam Willis of Silsby, Texas, and Connie Sirman ofVillage Mills, Texas; her step-daughter, Karen Hoffman of Granbury,Texas; her sister, Annie Marie Smith of Natchez; threegranddaughters; two grandsons; and numerous other family membersand friends.

Memorials may be made to Gideon’s International, or a charity ofchoice.

Virginia Prestridge Kilpatrick

Services for Virginia Prestridge Kilpatrick of Pearl are 2:30p.m., Sunday, July 31, at Jones Family Funeral Service Chapel withburial in Woodlawn Cemetery in Summit. The Rev. Keith Smith willofficiate the service.

Mrs. Kilpatrick, 66, died July 29, 2005, at St. Dominic Hospitalin Jackson. She was born in Lincoln County on Jan. 22, 1939, toHomer and Donna Prestridge.

She was a retired accounts payable clerk for Allstate InsuranceCo. in Jackson. She was a member of First Baptist Church inSummit.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, RodneyE. Kilpatrick Sr. of Pearl.

Survivors are her son, Rodney E. Kilpatrick Jr. of Pearl; herdaughter and son-in-law, Donna Gayle and James Grass of Flora; hersister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Holton Lofton of BogueChitto; her nieces, Kim Forman and husband Barry of Magnolia, andKaye Lofton of New Orleans; her nephew, Butch Lofton and wife DeeDee, of Bogue Chitto; her grandchildren, Amy and husband JeremyJames of Richland, and Jared Gross of Flora; and hergreat-grandchild, Reesa James.
