Hilda Rae Rollins Gill

Services for Hilda Rae Rollins Gill of Brookhaven are 11 a.m.,Friday, Aug. 5, at Community Funeral Services Chapel with burial inEasthaven Cemetery.

Visitation is Thursday from 5-8 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mrs. Gill, 83, died Aug. 3, 2005, at her residence. She was bornon July 9, 1922, to David Rollins and Vincie Riley.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Baptist faith.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, LutherGill; and two brothers.

Survivors are her son, Elton W. Gill of Brookhaven; herdaughters, Doris Rae Gill and Betty Buckles, both of Brookhaven;her sister, Catherine Pennington of Beaumont, Texas; threegrandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Jerri Dean Haynes

Services for Jerri Dean Haynes of Brookhaven are 11 a.m.,Saturday, Aug. 6, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses withburial in Hoovers Cemetery in Summit.

Visitation is Friday from 1-8 p.m., with family present at 7p.m., at Williams Mortuary.

Mrs. Haynes, 55, died Aug. 1, 2005, at her residence. She wasborn on Sept. 7, 1949, to Clemmie Tenner and Nettie Mae Tenner ofNatchez.

She was retired after 10 years as a nurse’s tech at King’sDaughters Hospital. She was a 1967 graduate of Lydell High Schoolin Fayette. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’sWitnesses.

Preceding her in death were her father; and a brother, ClarenceTenner.

Survivors are her mother; her husband, Obed Haynes ofBrookhaven; her son, Garrick Haynes of Brookhaven; her daughter,Pamela Haynes of Brookhaven; her brothers, Arthur Tenner, JackieLee Tenner, Arvin Joe Tenner, and Cedric Tenner, all of Natchez;two sisters, Theresia Jackson of Tennesaw, Ga., and Gail Hutchinsof Natchez; three grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews andother relatives and friends.

Zulieme Thetford Pierce

Services for Zulieme Thetford Pierce of Brandon were 11 a.m.,Wednesday, July 27, at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon withburial in Lakewood Memorial Park.

Mrs. Pierce, 91, died July 24, 2005 at Hospice Ministries inRidgeland. She was born to Marion Thetford and Mader BorenThetford.

She was a native of Claiborne County. She was an avid gardenerand loved the outdoors. She was a member of Brandon First UnitedMethodist Church.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Wylie Pierce; hersister, Beatrice Thetford Allred; and her brother, David M.Thetford.

Survivors are her daughter, Janice Pierce Dotherow; twograndchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces andcousins from the Brookhaven area.

Booker T. Robinson Jr.

Services for Booker T. Robinson Jr. of Brookhaven are 2 p.m.,Saturday, Aug. 6, at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 7 p.m., at Tyler FuneralHome, with family present at 6 p.m.

Mr. Robinson, 56, died July 30, 2005, at his residence. He wasborn on Aug. 9, 1948, to Booker T. Robinson Sr. and RemellMarcellous Robinson.

He was a retired educator for the Pike County School System. Hetaught at Eva Gordon Elementary School in Magnolia. He was a memberof St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. He was a graduate ofAlexander High School and Jackson State University.

Preceding him in death were his parents; a brother, Ralph JerryRobinson; and a nephew.

Survivors are his brothers, James Louis Robinson and MorrisRobinson, both of Brookhaven; and his sisters, Betty Gilbert ofDetroit, Mich., Garnell Smith, Ruby Nelson, and Nellie Jones, allof Brookhaven.
