Lady Cobras outscore Hazlehurst

WESSON — Senior pitcher Bethany Dykes drilled a triple and adouble to help the Wesson Lady Cobras to a 6-4 victory over theHazlehurst Lady Indians in recent girls slowpitch softball action.Dykes struck out two batters and walked two for the win.

The Lady Cobras, coached by Jemmye Ann Helms, improved to 2-1with the victory.

Contributing to the Wesson win with three singles was SummerEasterling. Sam Ellison, Nikki McCardle and Jessica Haynessingled.
