Services for Versana Edwards, of Bogue Chitto, are 11 a.m.Friday, Sept. 2 at Mt. Zion M.B. Church in Bogue Chitto with burialin the church cemetery.

Visitation is today from 1 to 5 p.m. at R.E. Tyler FuneralHome.

Mrs. Edwards, 94, died Aug. 29, 2005, at her residence. She wasborn on May 28, 1911, to Pete Williams and Cassie Williams.

She was a member of Mt. Zion M.B. Church where she served as amember of the Usher Board.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, AlbertEdwards; her sisters, Beulah Jones, Eunice McGee and EularWilliams.

Survivors are her son, Willie A. Edwards, of Chicago, Ill.; herdaughters Mae Wesley, of Bogue Chitto, and Verline Porche, of LosAngeles, Calif.
