Services for Juanita S. Moak, of Bogue Chitto, are 11 a.m.Saturday, Sept. 3 at Arlington Baptist Church in Bogue Chitto withburial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5 to 9 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Homeand Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.

Mrs. Moak, 88, died Aug. 30, 2005, at McComb Nursing andRehabilitation. She was born on Jan. 17, 1917, to Willard Sasserand Ida McFadden Sasser.

She was retired from Stahl Urban Company and ran Moak’s Groceryat Arlington for 24 years. She was a member of Arlington BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her brothers, RussellSasser and Harold Sasser, both of Bogue Chitto; her sisters, HazelBritt, of Bogue Chitto, and Pearl Porter, of Smithdale; hergrandchildren, Nancy Pickett and Clifford Moak; and agreat-grandchild, William Pickett.

Survivors are her husband of 68 years, Robert E. Moak, of BogueChitto; her sons, Wayne Moak and his wife, Georgia, of BogueChitto, and Delton Moak and his wife, Patricia, of McCall Creek;her daughter, Lanell Pickett and her husband, Tom, of McCall Creek;11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and twogreat-great-grandchildren.
