Services for Mary Louise “Red” Jones, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m.Friday, Sept. 16 at St. Mark M.B. Church with burial in CarverHeights Cemetery.

Visitation is Thursday from 1 to 6 p.m. at WilliamsMortuary.

Mrs. Jones, 85, died Sept. 11, 2005, at Riverland Medical Centerin Ferriday, La. She was born on Aug. 16, 1920, to Walter NathanielMotley and Gertude Billups Motley.

She was a retired teacher. She was a member of St. Mark M.B.Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her brothers, Walter”Bud” Motley Jr. and Malcolm Motley; and her sisters, Josie Knightand Freda Motley.

Survivors are her husband, Louis Jones Sr., of Natchez; her son,Louis “Butch” Jones Jr., of Jackson; her daughter, Cassandra”Shawn” Wells, of Jackson; eight grandchildren; and sixgreat-grandchildren.
