“The Jackets are an experienced football team,” explained Burns.”They have several seniors. Offensively, you must stop (Terrell)May and (Blake) McKee. May is a running back and McKee is thequarterback.
“May is big and strong,” continued Burns. “He runs fast and heruns hard. He runs through arm tackles. He is as good running backand is hard to tackle. McKee is kind of shifty, quick. He has goodfeet as anybody you will see. He is good at making people miss. Ifyou can stop those two, you can stop their offense.”

Enterprise head coach Roe Burns watched West Lincoln play LoydStar before Hurricane Katrina hit. “The Bears have some good kids,Patrick Smith, Adam McCaffery, Alton Hart and Dexter Hutson. Thoseare four good guys. They play hard and I admire them for hanging inthere and playing football.”
Burns complimented West Lincoln for having some talentedathletes.
“West Lincoln has some good athletes,” stated Burns. “(Darnell)Sampson can be as good as he wants to be. He is strong and has goodspeed. They have a young football team. He needs to be aleader.”
Roe Burns said his Jackets need to stay focused on the game.”Andnot turn the ball over and make stupid penalties.”
As far as playing against his son, “I would rather be the sonthan the father,” said Roe Burns. “It’s more of a challenge comingfrom the son’s of view. When the game is over, we will still befather and son.”
The cancellation of last weeks two games, Wesson at West Lincolnand Loyd Star at Enterprise cost all four teams money at thegate.
