Juanita T. Smith

Services for Juanita T. Smith, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. Friday,Sept. 16 at Big Springs Baptist Church with burial in the churchcemetery.

Visitation is today from 5 to 10 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. to 1p.m. at Community Funeral Services.

Mrs. Smith, 77, died Sept. 14, 2005, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born on Dec. 8, 1927, to Luther Thornton and MaryReed Thornton.

She was a homemaker and retired from Kellwood.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, OkleyWatson Smith; her son, Paul L. Smith; her daughter, Mary K. Smith;two sisters; and two brothers.

Survivors are her daughters, Judy Boyd, and her husband, Jerry,of Ruth, Norma J. Kennison and her husband, Bobby, Linda D. Coonand Joyce Watts, all of Brookhaven; her sister, Margaret Lane, ofArkansas; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.
