Pearlie Amacker
Services for Pearlie Amacker, of Bogue Chitto, are 2 p.m.Tuesday, Sept. 20 at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with burialin Kennedy Cemetery in Poplarville.
Visitation is today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Amacker, 89, died Sept. 18, 2005, of heart failure atCountrybrook Living Center. She was born on Dec. 8, 1916, to S.L.Jarrell and Bertha Prince Jarrell.
She was a homemaker.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; and onegranddaughter.
Survivors are her daughter, Elizabeth Kaye and her husband,Wallace, of Clearwater, Fla.; her son, Jack Amacker, and his wife,Susan, of Bogue Chitto; her sister, Shirley Wise, of Picayune; herbrother, Lamont Jarrell, of Picayune; three grandchildren; and twogreat-grandchildren.
Lamar Crosby
Services for Lamar Crosby, of Brookhaven, were 11 a.m. today,Sept. 19 at the Red Star Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ ofLatter Day Saints, with burial in the church cemetery.
Mr. Crosby, 79, died Sept. 17, 2005, at his residence. He wasborn on April 18, 1926, to Henry Thomas Crosby and Maude SmithCrosby.
He was retired from Stahl Urban garment factory. He was a memberof the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He served inthe Army during World War II.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his brothers, SonnyCrosby, John Crosby and Jerry Crosby; and his sister, Emma JeanFalvey.
Survivors are his wife, Jewel Smith Crosby, of Brookhaven; hissons, Steve Crosby and his wife Ruth, of Columbia, and Stacy Crosbyand his wife Tammy, of Hattiesburg; his brother, Butch Crosby, ofBogue Chitto; his sisters, Audrea Wright, Addie Faye Dixon, EdwinaAllen, and Lynn Reeves, all of Bogue Chitto; and his grandchildren,Tyler Crosby, Janae Crosby, Taylor Crosby, Zach Crosby, ColeCrosby, and Dylan Crosby.

Mrs. Davis, 64, died Sept. 17, 2005, at her residence. She wasborn on Sept. 3, 1941, to Edward Berry Sr. and Mildred Berry.
She was a retired chef and owner of the Inez for 17 years. Shewas a member of Faith Presbyterian Church. .
Preceding her in death were her parents; and her two brothers,Johnny A. Berry and Father Edward R. Berry.
Survivors are her husband, Don L. Davis Sr., of Wesson; hersons, Don L. Davis Jr., of Pascagoula, and Richard J. Davis, ofWesson; her daughters, Terri D. Binns and Shannon L. Brown, both ofMadison; and her grandchildren, Preston Binns, Larson Binns,Katelynn Brown, Hillary Brown and Madeleine Brown.

Services for Alfred “Zeke” Lloyd, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m.Tuesday, Sept. 20 at Damascus M.B. Church with burial in LloydFamily Cemetery.

Mr. Lloyd, 66, died Sept. 17, 2005, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter emergency room. He was born on Oct. 25, 1938, to Levi Lloydand Irma Lee Smith Lloyd.
He was a former derrick hand with Marlin Drilling Co. Heattended Tougaloo College. He was a member of Damascus M.B. Churchwhere he served on the Deacon Board.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and one sister, LubertaAdams.
Survivors are his wife, Josie Robinson Lloyd, of Brookhaven; hissons, Alfred Levi Lloyd, Sidney Lloyd and Demond Lloyd, all ofBrookhaven; his brother, Otha Lloyd, of Brookhaven; his sisters,Annie Pearl Ford, of Lansing, Mich., and Mary Irvin, of Atlanta,Ga.; and six grandchildren.
Skip Mahnke

Mr. Mahnke, 69, died Sept. 17, 2005, at his residence. He wasborn in Madison, Wisc., on Nov. 19, 1935, to James Mahnke andMarjorie Putman Mahnke.
He was retired from the Air Force. He was a member of EasthavenBaptist Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Survivors are his wife, Melanie May Mahnke, of Brookhaven; hisson, Kenneth Bowman Jr., of Okmulgee, Okla.; his daughter, MariahReed, of Brandon; his brother, Bobby Mahnke, of Kansas City, Mo.;his sister, LaRue Everhart, of Riverside, Calif.; and threegrandchildren.

Mr. Smith, 67, died Sept. 17, 2005, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born on Feb. 9, 1938, to Clem Smith and MildredDonnigan Smith.
He was retired from the oilfield. He worked for Cavin Corp. Heserved in the Air Force.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and his brother,Chester Smith.
Survivors are his wife, Beth Briggs Smith, of Brookhaven; hisdaughter, Barbara Farve, of New Orleans, La.; his son, Ricky Smith,of Lafayette, La.; his sisters, Irene Lofton and Katie RuthWilkinson, both of Brookhaven; his brother, Calvin Smith, ofBrookhaven; four grandchildren, Kenneth “Toot” Jr. and BrendaFarve, of Slidell, La., Mindy Farve, of New Orleans, Kayla Smith,of Lafayette, La., and Ricky Smith, of New Orleans; and fourgreat-grandchildren, Kenneth Farve III, Joshua Farve and BrennaFarve, all of Slidell, and Raymond Arceneaux IV, of NewOrleans.
