Services for Thomas Francois, of New Orleans, are 11 a.m.Wednesday, Sept. 21 at R.E. Tyler Funeral Home Chapel with burialin Rose Hill Cemetery.

Family hour will be observed from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at thefuneral home.

Mr. Francois, 52, died Sept. 15, 2005, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center emergency room. He was born on Nov. 10, 1952, toHerman Francois and Henrene Butler Francois.

He was a porter at Baptist Hospital in New Orleans. He was amember of Asia Baptist Church in New Orleans.

Preceding him in death was his father.

Survivors are his mother, Henrene Butler Francois, of NewOrleans; his daughter, Quo Chandra Francois, of New Orleans; hisbrothers, Ronnie Francois, of Louisiana, Randy Francois, of NewOrleans, and Bobby Butler, of Houston, Texas; his sisters, RosieFrancois, of New Orleans, Shawanda Butler, of Biloxi, HermanetteGatlin, of Brookhaven, Donna Yamini, Carol Robinson and LindaFrancois, all of New Orleans; and two grandchildren.

Erlene Harrison Reid

Services for Erlene Harrison Reid, of Monticello, are 11 a.m.Wednesday, Sept. 21 at Monticello Methodist Protestant Church inMonticello with burial in Bethshan Cemetery in Monticello.

Visitation is today from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Homein Monticello.

Mrs. Reid, 85, died Sept. 18, 2005, at the Lawrence CountyNursing Home. She was born on Jan. 4, 1920, to Walter Hedgepeth andMaude King Hedgepeth.

She was a retired supervisor with New Hebron Garment Factory.She was a charter member of Monticello Methodist ProtestantChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husbands, GeorgeHarrison and Ray Reid; three sisters; and one grandson.

Survivors are her sons, Don Harrison, of Seminary, DoyleHarrison, of Monticello and Wayne Harrison, of Topeka; her sisters,Loaree Robinson, of Pearl, and Mary Jones, of Brandon; herbrothers, the Rev. H.J. Hedgepeth, of Lucedale, and CurtisHedgepeth, of Port Allen, La.; 13 grandchildren; and 23great-grandchildren.
