Services for Elton E. Mason, of Monticello, are 11 a.m.Wednesday, Nov. 23 at Community Funeral Services Chapel with burialin New Zion Cemetery in Monticello.

Visitation is today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Mason, 75, died Nov. 20, 2005, at Hospice in Ridgeland. Hewas born on Aug. 25, 1930, to Elton M. Mason and Blanche PrineMason.

He was a retired Teamster. He was a member of New Zion BaptistChurch. He served in the Army in Korea.

Preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers; and onesister.

Survivors are his wife, Louise Maxwell Mason; his sons, JimmyDarrell Mason Sr. and Jimmy Darrell Mason Jr., both of Brookhaven;his daughters, Brenda Mason, of Indiana, Barbara Mason Posey, ofMarshall, Texas, and Deborah Mason O’Brian, of McComb; hisbrothers, Ray Mason, of Natchez, David Mason, of Indiana, and JoyLee Mason and Dennis Mason, both of Sontag; his sister, Ann MasonBankston, of Vicksburg; three grandchildren, Nicole Basco and DavidBasco, both of Indiana, and Angie Davis, of Shreveport.
