Services for Roger Dale Cole, of Union Church, are 3 p.m.Wednesday, Nov. 23 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Hazlehurstwith burial in the church cemetery. Community Funeral Services isin charge of arrangements.

Visitation begins today at 4 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Cole, 56, died Nov. 20, 2005, at his residence. He was bornin Maden on Aug. 26, 1949, to Lamar Cole and Susie Pearl Cole.

He was retired from the Mississippi Department of Transportationafter 25 years of employment. He was a member of the Baptist faith.He loved his wife, children, grandchildren, NASCAR, deer huntingand fishing.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and one brother, GeneCole.

Survivors are his wife, Patricia Sebren Cole, of Union Church;his sons, Richard Lamar Cole, of Houma, La., Edward Dale Cole andhis wife Julia, of Union Church, and Joseph David Cole, of Tupelo;his brothers, Odis Cole, of Brandon, Freddie Cole, of San Antonio,Texas, and Larry Cole, of Woodstown, N.J.; his sister, Ada FayChamblee, of Walnut Grove; two grandchildren, Christopher Dale Coleand Victoria Kay Cole, both of Union Church; and numerous niecesand nephews.
