Jackie W. Chandler
Services for Jackie W. Chandler, of Wesson, are 1 p.m. Thursday,Dec. 1 at Community Funeral Services with burial in Zion HillCemetery in Wesson.
Visitation is today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Ms. Chandler, 33, died Nov. 27, 2005, at Hardy Wilson MemorialHospital in Hazlehurst. Her parents are Joseph Osco Herrington, ofJackson, and Delma Varner, of Wesson.
She was employed with D.G. Foods in Gallman.
Survivors are her parents; her son, Christopher Reed, of Wesson;her daughters, Christina Reed and Sabrina Reed, both of Wesson; herbrothers, Joseph Herrington, of Jackson, Terry Herrington, ofBrookhaven, Scottie Herrington, of Prairieville, La., NathanHerrington, of Tylertown, and Robin Herrington, of Wesson; hersisters, Tammy Burchfield, of Brookhaven, Connie Maxwell, ofWesson, Paula Hamilton, of Hazlehurst, and Becky Edwards, ofMcComb; her grandmother, Lore Dell Keen, of Brookhaven; and herformer husband, Marty Reed, of Vicksburg.
Charles Elmer Smith
Services for Charles Elmer Smith, of Sontag, are 2 p.m. Friday,Dec. 2 at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church in Sontag withburial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. at Riverwood FamilyFuneral Service.
Mr. Smith, 60, died Nov. 29, 2005, at the G.V. “Sonny”Montgomery Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Jackson. He was bornon Aug. 20, 1945, to Jessie C. Smith and Annie Mae FosterSmith.
He was an electrician. He was a graduate of Monticello HighSchool and served in the Navy. He was a member of Pleasant GroveUnited Methodist Church.
Preceding him in death were his father; and his father-in-lawand mother-in-law, K.C. and Lucille Beeson.
Survivors are his mother, Annie Mae Foster Smith; his wife, JoAnn Beeson Smith; his sons, Eric Harvey Smith and his wife, Annie,of Brookhaven, Charles Shane Smith and his wife, DeShanna, ofBrookhaven, and Brandon Kirk Smith, of Sontag; his sister, GeorgiaAnn Sisk and her husband, John, of Monticello; and his fivegrandchildren, Ben Smith, Charles Wayne Smith, Trevor Smith,Catilin Smith and Jessica Smith.
