Ella Mae Jones Rogers

Services for Ella Mae Jones Rogers, of Monticello, are 11 a.m.Friday, Dec. 23 at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Monticello withburial in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Silver Creek.

Visitation is today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Rogers, 64, died Dec. 21 2005, at Southwest MississippiMedical Center in McComb. She was born on Oct. 8, 1941, to RobertC. Jones and Josephena King Jones.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Calvary BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; an infant sibling; andthree brothers.

Survivors are her husband, Matthew Thomas Rogers Jr., ofMonticello; her son, Larry O. Rogers, of Monticello; her daughter,Evelyn Rose Fortenberry, of Silver Creek; her brothers, PerryJones, of Prentiss, and Jona Ray Jones, of Vicksburg; a sister, CreParker, of Biloxi; eight grandchildren; and onegreat-grandchild.

Services for Albert Smith, of Roxie, are 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec.24 at Roxie Baptist Church with burial in Mt. Olive Baptist ChurchCemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Marshall FuneralHome Chapel in Bude and Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. at thechurch.

Mr. Smith, 82, died Dec. 19, 2005, at Glenburney Nursing Home.He was born in Kirby on Sept. 7, 1923, to Robert and ElviaSmith.

Preceding him in death were his parents, one daughter, threesons, five sisters, four brothers and two wives.

Survivors are his six daughters, seven sons, two brothers, ahost of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, otherrelatives and friends.
