Services for Ernestine Smith Minton, of Irvington, Ala., are 2p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28 at Shiloh Baptist Church in Sontag withburial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5 to 9 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home inMonticello.

Mrs. Minton, 75, died Dec. 22, 2005, at her residence. She wasborn in Mississippi on Aug. 2, 1930, to Kirby Smith and IreneGibson Smith.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.She loved sewing, quilting and being a grandmother.

Preceding her in death were her parents; one brother, FloydSmith; and a great-grandchild, Jace Minton.

Survivors are her sons, James Minton, of Algiers, La., and MikeMinton, of Orlando, Fla.; her daughters, Janel Schultz and PatricaHarbison, both of Irvington; her brother, Jack Smith, of Sontag;her sister, Frances Easterling, of Sontag; 15 grandchildren; and 15great-grandchildren.
