Services for Charlie Braxton, of Bogue Chitto, are 2 p.m.Friday, Dec. 30 at Mt. Zion M.B. Church in Bogue Chitto with burialin Mt. Zion Cemetery. R.E. Tyler Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 2 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Braxton, 67, died Dec. 23, 2005, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter emergency room. He was born on Feb. 24, 1938, to KempBraxton and Maggie Coleman Braxton.

He was disabled. He was a member of Mt. Zion M.B. Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and three sisters,Vernell Reed, Wessie Putman and Versanna Harris.

Survivors are his sons, Charlie Rydell Braxton, of Jackson,Calvin Braxton, of McComb, Calvin Kees Braxton, of Brookhaven andCharles Braxton, of Memphis; his daughter, Mary Magee, of Sontag,and Kimberly Braxton, of Memphis; his brother, Hugh Earl Braxton,of Bogue Chitto; his sisters, Lillie B. Kline, of Bogue Chitto, andEva Nell Jones and Yvonne Sharpe, both of Chicago; and 10grandchildren
