Memorial services for Roger Ruffino Osborne, of Brookhaven, are11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 30 at R.E. Tyler Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Osborne, 60, died Dec. 25, 2005, at Hospice Ministries inRidgeland. He was born on Jan. 25, 1945, to Ralph Osborne andEleanor Osborne.

He was a private catering chef.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his sister, KarenRucker.

His sister, Judith Osborne Johnson, of Oakland, Calif., surviveshim.

Annie B. Haynes Quarles

Services for Annie B. Haynes Quarles, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m.Saturday, Dec. 31 at St. Mark M.B. Church with burial in BogueChitto Woods Cemetery in Summit.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 8 p.m., with family presentfrom 7 to 8 p.m., at R.E. Tyler Funeral Home.

Mrs. Quarles, 79, died Dec. 25, 2005, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center emergency room. She was born on Sept. 28, 1926, toRalph Haynes Sr. and Alma Blount Haynes.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Mark M.B. Churchwhere she served on the Motherboard. She was reared in Liberty.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her sons, James Haynes,Andrew Lundy and Lee Edward Haynes; her sisters, Hazel Thomas andVirginia Haynes; her brother, Leo Felder; and a specialsister-in-law, Jerry Haynes.

Survivors are her sons, Odell Haynes, Willie Dean Quarles, TonyQuarles, Raymond Quarles and Herman Quarles; her daughters, LucyHaynes, Theresa Quarles and Vertis Quarles; her brothers, RalphHaynes Jr. and Obedee Haynes, both of Brookhaven, and CurtisFelder, of Denham Springs, La.; her sisters, Bernice Smith, ofJackson, and Mandy Johnson, of San Francisco, Calif.; and a host ofgrandchildren and great-grandchildren.
