Services for Clasteen Franklin Tucker, of Bogue Chitto, are 10a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14 at Topisaw M.B. Church in Ruth with burialin the Topisaw/Mars Hill Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at MarshallFuneral Home in Brookhaven. A wake will be observed at the churchFriday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Visitation will resume at 8 a.m. at thechurch.

Mrs. Tucker, 84, died Jan. 7, 2006, at her residence. She wasborn in Ruth on Dec. 16, 1921, to Zeb Franklin and Ada MayFranklin.

She was a member of the Lincoln County Retired Teacher’sAssociation and the Heroines of Jericho.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, ClintTucker; her brother-in-law, M.C. Hammond Sr.; and her nephew, JoeHammond.

Survivors are her son, Brian Hammond, of Ruth; a sister, AlleanHammond, of Chicago; two grandsons; and a host of nieces, nephews,other relatives and friends.
